There’s something there standing, watching
I sense only fear
The corner of my room feels dark
A portal of a sense
It comes and goes whenever it wants
It has strength and it stands over 8 feet tall
When I sleep at night here it comes
Spying, casting, watching for my fall
Some nights I can’t move or speak at all
Enough of this disturbance
I’m losing sleep
In Jesus Name, I take back my peace
I stand in its place, pray, and anoint the space
My sleep is mended
Victory is mine
While I’m making my bed the next morning
I see the same corner light up
A tall gold staff glows
Then fades away into the unseen
